Hamburg Sued / Columbus Ship Management ‘Monte Tamaro” is a 69,132 tonnes, 272.08 meters Container Ship (Fully Cellular)  that entered Dry Dock No. 3 on February 28, 2017 for a 12-day work period.

Our Task

General dry docking services included shore power, cooling water, fresh water, ballast water, compressed air and sewage disposal.

Renewal of stern seals

(1) propeller removed and refitted, cleaned and polished (6 blades along with 6 blade roots).

Rudder removed and replaced for survey, fabricated and installed new rudder for inspection.

Bow and stern thruster overhauls (removed, cleaned and replaced).

Hull UTM Measurement class renewal. Hull treatment included HP/LP wash to 20,221m² and UHP spot blast to 809m². (2) Touch up coats to 1,500m² and (1) full coat of anti-fouling to 20,221m².
