Member of the Crowley Fleet, the Crowley Marine Services Inc. ‘Tug Costal Reliance’ is a 963 tonnes, 127 meters tug that entered Dry Dock 1 on April 2, 2017 for 14 days of work.

Our Task

General dry docking services were provided.

Fixed pitch propellers, cleaned and inspected; propellers removed and reinstalled; sea valves inspected, repaired and replaced (approximately 24 valves).

Potable water tank cleaned and refilled (approximatley 25.3m³).

P&S Generators removed, cleaned, dipped and baked (included two 425kW generators port and staboard).

Removed interference for reduction gear removal, removed and replaced Red Fox MSD system and installed oil centrifuge between main engines and installed piping using carbon steel sch. 40 (approximately 9 meters).

Hull treatment included HP wash to hull (1,330m²), WJ2 Spot blast (keel to water line 761m²) and water line to top of bulkwak (570m²). Coating included (1) full coat of anti-fouling to (keel to water line 761m²) and (1) full coat of anti-corrosive to (water line to top of bulkwak 570m²).
